How do I buy a ticket?

Buying a ticket is easy! Just head over to www.bmxworldcupbrisbane.com.au/get-tickets for all Adult and Child tickets. Kids under 5 are free of charge. There are no further concession categories.

I haven’t received / can’t find my tickets?
-
All tickets are issued at the time of purchase and sent to the email address used via the AusCycling Shop. There are no physically posted tickets.

Emails are sent from shop@auscycling.org.au.

To access tickets user can click on either “View your order” or “Click_to_download_tickets”.

Both links open to a page where the user can Update details (Name or add AC member number), download their tickets or transfer them to someone else.

Can I refund my tickets?

Unfortunately, ticketing Terms and Conditions outline no refunds.

Can I exchange the date of my tickets?

Unfortunately, date changes are not permitted once tickets are purchased.
How do I enter the venue with my ticket?
-
All tickets must be presented for scanning at the venue. This can be via printed paper ticket or direct from a mobile phone. Tickets can also be downloaded to a user’s Apple Wallet and stored/opened from there.

If presenting tickets on a mobile device, the screen brightness needs to be set to 100%.

What ages apply to ticketing?

Adult: 16+

Children under 5: Free

Proof of age may be requested at the gate. Age is at the time of the event. There are no concession tickets. Terms and Conditions available here.
How do I get to Brisbane SX International BMX Centre?
-
Sleeman Sports Complex is located on the corner of Old Cleveland and Tilley Roads, 15 kms east of the Brisbane CBD. The venue has two entry points on Tilley Road and one entry point on Old Cleveland Road. To find us, you can put our street address into your GPS - 1763 Old Cleveland Road, Chandler QLD 4155. Translink operates a number of services travelling to and from the Sleeman Sports Complex, with the bus stop located at the northern end of the Complex on the Ring Road outside P3.
Will there be parking at the event, and what does it cost?

Parking is available at the venue, but please be aware that spaces are limited inside Sleeman Sports Complex. We encourage you to arrive early, carpool, or find an alternative way of getting to and from the venue.
Who is organising this event?
-
AusCycling is the event organiser. We are working with Stadiums Queensland, the Brisbane Economic Development Agency, and Tourism Queensland and the UCI to deliver this event.
Can I enter to ride in the World Cup?
-
The World Cup is only open to Championship Class Elite and Under 23 riders who are entered by their National Federation. Junior Elite riders can also be entered by their National Federation as Under 23 competitors.

All other riders are welcome to enter the BMX Challenge categories in the Queensland State Series, AusCycling National Series, and Oceania Continental Championship events. For more information, head to the AusCycling website or contact events@auscycling.org.au

I am a World Cup rider: Can my coach or parent come into the pit area?

Access to the pit/team area will only be granted to accredited personnel. Accreditation is limited to team staff and crew.

Will spectators be allowed into the pit/team area?

Access to the pit/team area will only be granted to accredited personnel. All other patrons are not allowed into the pit/team area.
Can I buy a tent site at the venue?
-
Only international teams competing at the UCI BMX Racing World Cup: Brisbane can purchase tent sites at the venue. Private individuals and AusCycling BMX clubs cannot purchase trackside tent sites for this event.

However, tent sites will be available for the Queensland State Series, Oceania Championship, and National Series events leading up to the UCI BMX Racing World Cup. For more information, please contact: events@auscycling.org.au

How do I sign up to become an event volunteer?

As a volunteer, you'll be at the heart of the action, ensuring the smooth operation of this thrilling event. Whether you're a BMX enthusiast or just want to be part of a fantastic sporting event, your contribution is invaluable. There are limited positions available, so make sure to apply ASAP. What can I bring into the venue?

Spectators are encouraged to travel light! Fold-up chairs, eskys, milkcrates, and tents are not permitted on site and will be confiscated on entry. The venue is located outdoors and subject to weather conditions, with limited shade and shelter available. We recommend good footwear, a hat, and sunscreen.

Where can I view the track if I don’t have a seat in the grandstand?

There are ample viewing positions around the track, however we encourage spectators to arrive early for the best positions. There will also be a big screen at the venue to ensure you don’t miss a second of on-track action.
Will there be places to sit if I don’t have a seat in the grandstand?

Yes, seating will be provided at designated seating areas away from the track, while the Anna Meares Velodrome will be open next door that also has seating available for spectators, along with catering facilities.
Will there be places to shelter out of the sun/rain?

You should prepare for an outdoor event and dress accordingly

Shade and shelter are limited around the BMX Track itself. The Anna Meares Velodrome next door offers respite from the sun and rain.
Can I bring my pets?

No, please leave your pets at home.
Will there be accessibility options for parking and viewing the track?

Yes, designated parking and viewing areas will be available for spectators with an accessible needs and an accessible parking badge.
What will there be to eat and drink? Will there be alcohol for sale?

Yes, there will be several food trucks on site, offering a variety of food and drink options. Alcohol will be available, served in plastic. No glass items are permitted in the venue.
Can I bring my own alcohol?

No, anyone found in the possession of alcohol (or other prohibited items) will be removed from the venue. Bag checks will take place, on entry.
Will there be toilets available?

Toilets are available in the Anna Meares Velodrome adjacent to the catering outlets. Additional portable toilets will also be made available on site nearer to the BMX Track.
Will there be pro-shops at the event?
-
Yes, an expo which will include pro-shops from many of the best teams and manufacturers from across Australia and around the world will be on site for you to browse and purchase items from. If you would like to exhibit as a pro-shop please contact bmxworldcup@auscycling.org.au
